HEALTH AGREEMENT
We at "HOUNDSLABSRUS" guarantee our puppies are free of congenital and/or hereditary defects until one year of age. New owners must take their puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 3 (three) business days of receiving for its initial veterinary exam and keep current on all vaccinations, wormings, and check-ups. We require a copy of this visit mailed to us, as it will show you did uphold this requirement. Copy of the vet visit and any other paperwork requested must be received within two weeks of receiving puppy or all guarantees and warranties are null and void. Puppies will receive 1st puppy shot at 6 weeks of age, second at 8 weeks, and any others due every 3 weeks, and worming every two weeks til time of pickup or shipment. If puppy is given any vaccinations within 10 (ten) days of receiving puppy, unless otherwise informed to do so by "HOUNDSLABSRUS" in writing, this guarantee is null and void.
"HOUNDSLABSRUS" does not guarantee against coccidiosis, giardia, worms, mites, or any other parasites (internal and external). Coccidia is a bacterial infection brought on by stress and diet change. Giardia is an infection brought on by infected drinking water. Worms recycle often, and it is important that you maintain a proper worming schedule. Mites and other parasites (internal and external) can be picked up anywhere. We do not guarantee against parvo after the first 72 hours.
If new puppy is found to have any congenital and/or hereditary defects, that are life threatening or make it unsuitable as "pet quality", before one year of age, "HOUNDSLABSRUS" will replace (within one years time) said puppy with another puppy of same breed, but different parents, shipping costs are responsibility of new owner. Vet diagnosis, vet exam, tests performed and results, and xrays must be received within two business days of diagnosis, from two different licensed vets. The following are not considered life threatening or serious, and therefore are not covered: umbilical hernia, overbite, underbite, cherry eye, or undescended testicle. Problems developed from overweight, underweight, accidents, and/or improper care or treatment of puppy are not covered. Before replacement, registration papers and all other paperwork of said puppy must be surrendered to "HOUNDSLABSRUS" along with notification, by licensed veterinarian, of euthanasia of said puppy performed by a licensed veterinarian within two business days of diagnosis. If euthanasia is not performed in this time period of two business days of diagnosis, this guarantee in null and void. No replacement will be given. "HOUNDSLABSRUS" will not be responsible for any veterinarian charges and/or fees for this puppy once it has left "HOUNDSLABSRUS" possession. If breed of puppy is no longer available, "HOUNDSLABSRUS" will refund purchase price of puppy within one years time, shipping costs are not included.
If unable to properly care for new puppy, "HOUNDSLABSRUS" will either take puppy back or help find a new suitable home. We want all our puppies to be able to grow up in safe, loving, and happy homes, not at the local pound. No refund will be given. If puppy is returned to "HOUNDSLABSRUS", all return costs are the responsibility of the current owner.
If puppy is made an AKC champion (LABS AND BLOODHOUNDS), AKC nite champion and/or UKC nite champion (COONHOUNDS), or CKC champion (BEAGLES) by one year of age, you will be able to pick a new puppy of same breed from available puppies free of purchase price, shipping costs not included.
"HOUNDSLABSRUS" does not guarantee or warranty the buyer will be able to win titles or breed this puppy.
This guarantee is limited to the original purchaser of the puppy and said puppy. It is non-transferable if the puppy is sold or given away at any time.
There are no other warranties expressed or implied, other than what is listed above on this puppy. In the event of any litigation in connection with any "HOUNDSLABSRUS" puppy, the dispute will be handled in the district or circuit court of LITTLE RIVER COUNTY, ARKANSAS. Purchaser will be responsible for any and all court costs, along with any and all travel expenses.
New owner and "HOUNDSLABSRUS" agree puppy is 100% healthy and physically sound upon pickup or delivery of said puppy.
New owner agrees he/she is at least 18 (eighteen) years of age or older, and has read and understands this guarantee fully.
Any additions made to this contract replace any and all other contracts.
